Pape’ Kenworth, a premier medium and heavy‑duty truck and equipment dealer in the West, is seeking an Advanced Mobile Truck Technician / Mechanic to join our team. What You’ll DoWork in the field at customer locations and lead in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining medium and heavy Class 7 & 8 trucks. Analyze complex mechanical and electronic malfunctions, determine the best repair strategy, and execute repairs or rebuilds on major systems including engines, transmissions, axles, steering, brakes, clutches, electrical systems, and air systems. Support customers by maximizing uptime and getting trucks back on the road safely, correctly, and the first time.
WhatYou Need
- 5+ years of experience working on all makes and models of medium and heavy‑duty Class 7/8 trucks, including engine repair, electronic troubleshooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair.
- Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge;
Cummins and MX software experience preferred. - Self‑motivation and assertiveness.
- Ability to work under little or no supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
- Must provide own tools.
- Driver’s license with a good driving record;
Class A CDL preferred.
Compensation: $40.90‑45.45 hr (Depending on experience)
