PositionTitle: Maintenance Technician
Location: Maryville, MO
Type: Full‑Time | Rotating Shifts | Overtime as needed
- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on pyrolysis reactors, conveyors, pumps, and rotating equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficient rCB production.
- Diagnose and repair electrical controls (PLC systems, sensors, wiring) in high‑temperature, high‑pressure settings.
- Maintain mechanical components (bearings, gears, fluid systems) and apply knowledge of pressure effects on fluid flows during pumping and oil recovery.
- Monitor process parameters (temperature, pressure, flow rates) and troubleshoot to optimize syngas and rCB yields.
- Perform millwrighting tasks such as alignment, fabrication, and installation in tire processing and finishing lines.
- Document activities, manage parts inventory, and support continuous improvements via teamwork and communication.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and ISO 9001 standards, handling byproducts like tire‑derived oil.
- Cross‑train across the entire production process.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, or recycling; pyrolysis experience a plus.
- Proficiency with building, plumbing, electrical repairs, industrial 480V wiring, MIG/ARC welding, and fabrication.
- Controls troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints, hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to work independently while prioritizing safety.
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and handle industrial exposures (PPE provided).

Location & ScheduleFull‑time position on‑site at our Maryville, Missouri facility. Remote work is not available for this role.
Working ConditionsThis role operates within an active chemical recycling plant that includes exposure to carbon black, liquid hydrocarbon oils, and vapor streams. Protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators) will be required in designated areas. The facility includes indoor and outdoor operations, elevated equipment access, and industrial‑grade processing equipment.
