Express Employment Professionals is hiring a tax preparer for a company in Maryville, TN.

• Tax preparation software and tax research
• Proficient with MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
• Write-up/bookkeeping using Quick Books/other accounting software
• Personable with excellent communication skills
• Must be responsible, dependable, and prompt
• Professional in appearance and demeanor
• Team player who works well with and supports others
• General office – copying, scanning, filing, answering phones, etc.
• Must be willing to work extended hours during peak season, including weekends.
• Other duties as assigned

• Knowledge of Quick Books + Excel
• S Corps, C Corps, Partnerships, Trusts, Estates, Inheritance, and Individuals
• 3-5 years of tax experience in an office required
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
• Self-motivated and able to handle a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to handle complex as well as routine tax/accounting work, requiring hands‑on problem‑solving abilities

• Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM (Tax season hours may differ - some overtime)
• Temp-to-hire
• Full-time
• The pay rate is dependent on experience
