This is a Business Admin role that supports the EPM Pillar. The team member will work with EDMC to perform configurations and develop hierarchies. This role requires advanced knowledge of EPM applications, understanding of their architecture, and contributions to usage and testing of our ESSBASE cubes.
Responsibilities- Responsible for maintenance and configuration of hierarchies.
- Business point of contact for verifying metadata integrity and updates in ESSBASE.
- Understand and verify the impact of hierarchy changes in downstream applications.
- Partner with the EPM Budget and Profitability Specialist to ensure business needs for forecast and cost modeling are being met.
- Contribute to the data governance of EDMC metadata.
- Configure, update, enhance, and maintain the EPM budget module.
- Work with business unit leaders to set up budgets in the system.
- Partner with Lead Functional Analyst to create one-year forecasting models using budget and true results.
- Configure data and metadata that goes through all Oracle modules in the EDMC application.
- Recognize and address budget errors; coordinate resolution with appropriate parties.
- Provide design recommendations, budget governance, and configure the module to optimize information flows.
- Serve as subject matter expert on profitability module.
- Collaborate with technology team on testing new system processes and post-testing evaluations.
- Responsible for evaluating, testing, implementing, and training on regular upgrades from EPM provider.
- 4-year college degree with a Bachelor’s in Business Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or a related area.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- CPA preferred.
- Audit/Accounting background preferred.
- Ability to run queries in SQL.
- Prior experience with annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Experience with Oracle Planning, Budget and Enterprise Data Management Tool.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Highly detail oriented and analytical.
- Ability to think outside the box and solve problems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
