As a Full Time Paramedic, you will provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Maryville, TN. This position also covers our Health Center located in Athens, TN. The scheduled hours are Wednesday/Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm in Maryville, TN and Saturday/Sunday, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm in Athens, TN.

• Assess the nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures to be followed or to determine the need for additional assistance.
• Administer initial treatment at emergency scenes and take and record patient’s vital signs.
• Initiate intravenous fluids to administer medication or drug cardiac monitoring.
• Administer injections of medications and drugs.
• Communicate with physicians and other medical personnel in person and by radio‑telephone.
• Keep current on treatment techniques, protocol changes, material, and equipment.
• Prepare required reports and maintain records of activities.
• Conduct safety inspections, requisition and restock supplies, material, and equipment.
• May require other duties as assigned.

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from an accredited Paramedic training program.
• Current Paramedic Certification as defined within the state in which work will be performed.
• Current ACLS certification.
