Position Summary:

The Oracle ERP Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the overall architecture of Oracle ERP Cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across all modules and integrations. This role provides strategic guidance and technical leadership for Oracle ERP Cloud deployments, including platform configurations, integrations, and extensions.

• Architectural Leadership:
  Define and maintain the Oracle ERP Cloud architecture blueprint, including core modules (Financials, Procurement, Projects, etc.), integrations, and platform configurations.
• Integration Strategy:
  Design and implement integration patterns using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware solutions to connect ERP with internal and external systems.
• Platform Configuration:
  Oversee configuration of Oracle ERP Cloud environments, including security roles, workflows, approval hierarchies, and reporting structures.
• Solution Design:
  Provide guidance on best practices for implementing Oracle ERP Cloud features, extensions (using Visual Builder, APEX), and customizations while adhering to Oracle standards.
• Technical Governance:
  Establish standards for data migration, interface development, and performance optimization across ERP Cloud environments.
• Collaboration:
  
  Partner with functional leads, developers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization:
  Resolve high-level technical issues related to ERP Cloud integrations, performance, and security.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Stay current with Oracle ERP Cloud updates, new features, and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements.
• Provide leadership and coordination of architectural design and best practices for the implementation and integration of software solutions across custom development, SaaS, and COTS.
• Lead functional and technical discussions and communicate effectively across audiences.
• Work effectively with business groups, technology groups, and subject matter experts in a collaborative manner.
• Leverage Clayton technology portfolio, enterprise architectural standards, and established patterns to create solution designs that deliver required business capabilities.
• Partner with development teams in design, review of solution features, testing, deployment processes to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are supportable and scalable.
• Lead design collaboration for solutions that address application needs across the organization.
• Analyze application requirements and ensure systems offer security and integrate with current applications.
• Drive design of key technical components, frameworks, interfaces, and services, and lead product evaluations, proofs of concept, and implementations.
• Assist in development of and adherence to enterprise standards for software architecture.
• Collaborate with other architects, managers, and engineers to create synergies and drive technology reuse.
• Provide mentoring to team members through technical mentoring and strategic leadership.
• Develop transition strategy to reach target state through integration patterns, interim state stages, and migration strategies.
• Work on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state-of-the-art knowledge.
• Adapt architecture roadmap periodically to align with business strategy and goals.
• Ensure designs support scalability, quality, performance, security, maintainability, and architectural integrity.
• Collaborate with technology leaders to ensure the program takes advantage of appropriate architecture frameworks and compliance with security practices.
• Define strategy, plans, and governance to implement and manage enterprise architecture domain designs and technology standards; facilitate technology strategy and analyze industry trends.
• Analyze current application environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions.
• Mentor and lead other architects in their journey toward deeper understanding of architecture patterns and practices.

• Proven experience in Oracle ERP Cloud architecture.
• Expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware solutions.
• Strong understanding of platform configuration, including security, workflows, and reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with data migration strategies, interface development, and performance tuning.
• Ability to lead technical design sessions and provide architectural guidance to development teams.
• Familiarity with Oracle PaaS tools for ERP Cloud extensions.
