Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN – Tennessee

Start Date: February 9, 2026
Location: Maryville, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week assignment with weekend coverage required;
Patient ratios 5:1 (days), 6:1 (nights and weekends);
Daily census of 30 patients

Highlights:

• Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Experience with post-cardiac cath patients and bedside procedures including dialysis catheter placement, thoracentesis, and I&D
• EPIC EMR system (minimum 1 year experience required)
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
• Paid pre-assignment modules (up to 16 hours reimbursable)
• Orientation begins each Monday with two pre-approved time-off periods available

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Experience with rapid response/code teams, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Ability to float to other units within skill set as needed
