Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: February 9, 2026

Location: Maryville, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Block scheduling with 6:1 patient ratio across all shifts; 24 hours of orientation provided; weekend coverage required; floating within hospital based on skill set

Highlights:

• Progressive care step-down unit from ICU with 28-bed capacity serving adult patient populations
• Manage telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips (heparin, cardizem, amiodarone), and sotalol initiation
• ER holding experience required; no ventilators or pressor support
• Epic EMR system utilized; 1 year of Epic experience required
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Pre-assignment modules are compensated up to 16 hours

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical/telemetry experience
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• ER holding experience required
• Strong telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with post-cardiac procedures, chest tube management, and tracheostomy care preferred
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
