Fairview Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital that provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. We are located in Maryville, TN, and have been serving the animal community since 2002.
In addition to routine wellness care for small animals, we also offer many advanced services such as digital radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy, and more.

Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program aims to provide veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship, helping them become 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.
Externships are typically 2 weeks long, and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.
The length of the externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Eligibility
- Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
- Must be able to provide student PLIT.
