** The Software Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a software engineering team, which includes career and talent development, tactical planning, capacity and demand management and project delivery.

The Software Engineering Manager works in concert with the Portfolio team to define priorities and deliverables by clearly communicating areas of risk, dependencies, and mitigations to both technical and non-technical audiences.  They will also work directly with architecture and quality assurance to define and implement benchmarks for product quality and interaction between interconnected systems.  By building relationships across the organization, they will navigate complex issues and work across teams to align implementation schedules and remove blockers.
