Responsibilities
  • Identify client needs, understand objectives, and make appropriate investment/insurance recommendations consistent with compliance standards to achieve sales results and long‑term client satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed both individual and branch‑level sales and revenue goals as defined quarterly.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable bank, broker/dealer, state and federal regulations related to the sale of investment and insurance products, including the Santander Policy Statement governing the sale of uninsured products.
  • Provide leads to branch personnel for the sale of other bank products and services such as deposit accounts and loans.
  • Attend and actively participate in sales meetings, training initiatives, and planning sessions related to program development and growth.
  • Develop and execute quarterly business‑development plans in accordance with sales management objectives for marketing and promotion of investment products and services.
  • Maintain records and operational procedures, and provide sales and activity reports to management in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships to develop referral sources and meet appointment objectives.
  • Maintain required professional training and licensing, including knowledge of FINRA compliance, FDIC compliance, and the Bank’s uninsured products policy statement and all applicable regulations.
  • Provide active mentoring and coaching to Licensed Bank Employees (LBEs) assigned within your branch territory.
  • Hold frequent client appointments, seminars, and branch training sessions to secure long‑term client relationships and provide sales leadership regarding investment and insurance products.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Economics, Management Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field – Required.
  • Master’s Degree in a related field – Preferred.
  • 5+ Years of experience providing investment guidance and advice to clients – Required.
  • 5+ Years of a superior record of sales achievement while maintaining high ethical standards – Required.
  • Very strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Superior knowledge of financial analysis, risk evaluation, and loan documentation.
  • Ability to motivate, develop, and direct people, identifying the best fit for each role.
  • Strong relationship‑management and negotiation skills.
  • Logical and analytical reasoning to assess alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks.
  • Strong social orientation and preference for collaborative work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Certifications
  • NASD licenses: 6, 63, 7, 65, or 66 – Required.
  • Appropriate state insurance licenses – Required.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Compensation

Base Pay Range: $61,875.00 – $ USD.
