Outerland is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our industry-leading team of landscape professionals. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for your clients, ensuring that Outerland’s Three Uniques are consistently upheld.
The ideal candidate acts as a strategic partner to their clients, fostering long-term relationships. While you will be supported by a time-tested sales process and an established infrastructure, success in this role requires exceptional communication skills, rigorous organizational discipline, and the ability to manage client expectations proactively.
What You Will Do- Own the Relationship: You are the “go-to” for your clients - handling everything from routine check‑ins to conflict resolution.
- Ensure Quality: Get out into the field to meet with clients and perform site walk-throughs, ensuring that our work meets our client’s vision and quality expectations.
- Drive Growth: You are responsible for proactively identifying and selling opportunities that improve our clients’ properties.
- Collaborate: Work closely with Production Managers to ensure the quality and timeliness of our services not only meets but exceeds the client’s expectations.
- Communication
Skills:
You are able to communicate clearly and professionally with high-end clients. - Organizational Mastery: You have exceptional organizational skills. You can manage a "book of business" without letting details slip through the cracks.
- Tech Proficiency: You are comfortable using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets) and willing to learn our industry ERP system.
- The Right Attitude: Landscaping experience is preferred but not required
. A "can-do" attitude and a drive to learn about the rapidly growing landscape industry are much more important to us. - Requirements: Valid driver’s license is required for this role.
