Opportunity Highlights

• Join the busy practice of 10 physicians, 10 fellows, and 7 NPs
• 1:6 call rotation with opportunity for excess call + $500 per diem & fellows taking 1st call
• Practice includes inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services
• ICDs, pacers, ablations (including pulse field technology), and loop recorders
• Full range of cardiology services, including non-invasive, invasive, interventional, & EP working together with cardiac surgery & vascular surgery services
• Training opportunity with Cardiology fellowship program
• Located at Mercy One North  Iowa Medical Center – 342 bed regional referral teaching hospital
• Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 staffed ED and hospitalist services, helicopter, and state‑of‑the‑art Cath labs

• Competitive guaranteed base salary: $690,000/year + production (2-year guaranteed base)
• $200,000 recruitment bonus paid in 1st 2 years

Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required. Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team. Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license;
Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
