Clear Lake Bank & Trust Company is hiring a Mortgage Loan Officer in our Mason City Downtown Office. This position is ideal for the career-focused, self-starter with dedication to succeed and a proven track record in Real Estate Mortgage origination. The ideal candidate is community-focused, skilled in asking the right questions, problem-solving, with high-levels of personal accountability and integrity.

The Mortgage Loan Officer will join this successful team and enjoy the benefits of a centralized processing support team, and the built-in referral source of a full-service bank involved in three North Iowa communities.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent, or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with a focus on residential mortgage origination is preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required
• Must possess current MLO license in good standing or be willing to obtain
• Proficient in PC usage and standard office applications (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook); must be able to demonstrate proficiency of basic functions
