Curries (an ASSA ABLOY company) is growing! We are adding a Buyer to our team located in Mason City, Iowa. This is an onsite role that will report to the Supply Chain Manager.

** What would you do as our Buyer?
** You will develop expertise in procurement, supplier management, inventory planning, and manufacturing operations while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced production environment. You will also ensure materials and supplies are available to support daily manufacturing operations.
** You would also:
*** Create and manage purchase orders for assigned materials and suppliers.
* Coordinate with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery dates, and material availability.
* Monitor open orders and communicate potential supply concerns.
* Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier information within ERP systems.
* Support inventory management activities, including cycle counts and replenishment processes.
* Assist in the analysis of supplier performance and procurement metrics.
* Collaborate with operations, engineering, production planning, and other business functions.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
* Learn procurement best practices, sourcing processes, and supplier management techniques
** The Skills and Experience you need:
*** Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
* 1 to 3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, operations, or related business functions.
* Experience with ERP or MRP systems is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business applications.
* Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
* Desire to learn, grow, and build a career within a procurement organization.
