Mason City, Iowa | CRNA Locum Tenens Opportunity Supervised Model | Level III Trauma | Regional Blocks Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Mason City, Iowa. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, a supportive anesthesia care team, and the flexibility to pick up optional weekend call — making it an excellent match for skilled CRNAs seeking stability and variety within a strong regional hospital system.

Start Date:
February/March 2026 - Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Call: Optional (weekends only) — 10-minute response time required
- Travel & Lodging: Provided and coordinated by Rhino Medical
- EMR System: Cerner
- Model: Medically supervised anesthesia care team
- Team: 7 CRNAs and 4 Anesthesiologists
- Call Structure: Optional weekend pager call (Friday–Sunday); typically low volume except Saturdays (6–8 cases on average)
- Case Types: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and occasional Level III trauma cases
- Regional Anesthesia: Required proficiency in spinals, blocks, and epidurals — CRNAs place epidurals
- Active Iowa CRNA License
- DEA and CSR (required for this site)
- AANA Certification
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in regional anesthesia and block techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment
