* The Cincinnati School of Music is seeking
* PIANO TEACHERS
* to

* Teach piano lessons to children, teens, and adults from complete beginners up to intermediate level music students. All piano lessons are one-on-one.

* Assess students' abilities and educational needs and create a plan for piano lessons to ensure musical progress.

* Provide encouragement to students and periodic updates to parents about their child's progress.

* Be dependable and punctual to ensure piano lessons start and end at their scheduled times.

* * Seeking Piano Teachers who can teach piano lessons up to an intermediate level.  If you are able to teach other instruments at a beginner and/or intermediate level that is preferred!

* At CSM, teachers are employees (rather than independent contractors), which means half of Social Security taxes and half of Medicare taxes are paid by CSM, the employer. Employees receive paystubs with a breakdown of tax with holdings, and also W2's, which are helpful to have for many reasons. In short, as an employee, tax-time is much simpler than it is if you are an independent contractor.
