• Provide maintenance and troubleshooting for CNCs, servo, spindle drive, and motor products. Investigate customer complaints and perform analysis to determine causes.
• Actively participate in on‑the‑job training and classroom instruction.
• Understand and promote the company goal of exceeding customer expectations while learning how to deal with customers.
• Report quality problems to the appropriate manager/supervisor.
• Control inventory as assigned.
• Learn service operations, procedures, and policies, including timely and accurate submission of required paperwork.
• Maintain all company‑provided equipment, including tools.
• Travel as required within company‑provided directions and guidelines. Overnight travel ranging from 4–6 nights per month.
• Travel by airplane for training purposes or meetings as needed.
• Work with a more senior‑level Field Service Engineer, following detailed instructions from Supervisor/Manager.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Mechatronics, graduate from a technical trade school, and/or relevant work experience in a related field preferred.
• Two years of relevant experience in a technical customer support or field service environment preferred.
• Transportation of equipment and parts (weighing up to 75 pounds) to customer locations.
• Ability to diagnose and problem‑solve.
• Ability to make preliminary selections and adapt engineering alternatives.
• Ability to learn and absorb new ideas quickly to keep current with changes in technology and methodologies.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and use of diagnostic tools.
• Flexibility to travel 80–90% to customer sites.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license and be able to drive throughout the organization’s service area.
