GENERALFUNCTION
The EDI Production Analyst is responsibilities for the monitoring, triage and resolution of daily production membership file exceptions and errors to ensure client Service Level Agreements (SLA) and department Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are met. Additionally, this role supports the daily production activities for EDI eligibility file processing and conducting audit activities.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Monitors daily production file exception and error triage and implements appropriate resolution within department turnaround standards.
- Reviews, updates and approves compliance (SSAE/SOC) reporting and other membership processing reports, as needed
- Validates completion and accuracy of membership file loads through timely audits of processor activities.
- Builds and fosters professional relationships with internal/external contacts to effectively communicate and expedite the resolution of file processing issues and to minimize member access to care issues.
- Performs electronic membership production file processing activities for timely member enrollment into Eye Med systems – including supporting the coordination of file receipt, tracking, loading and reporting of membership data.
- Understands EDI eligibility file load process, client set-up parameters, and data submission layouts to effectively analyze file issues to determine resolution.
- Manages and partners with team members to monitor and respond to inquiries received through department shared mailboxes
- Able to multi-task and use multiple system applications to execute tasks relative to file
- Maintains understanding of all policies, standards of administration, service level agreements, procedures, protocols, compliance, and security guidelines.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years EDI experience
- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot electronic data issues
- Understands third party benefits and administration
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to interpret data results
- Ability to analyze and manipulate electronic data
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- 2+ years’ experience in Data analysis, Business Objects, Visual Basic and/or SQL
- Experience in the medical insurance industry
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
