EWM SAP Functional Analyst

Overview

Our client is looking for an SAP EWM Functional Analyst - Level 3 to join their team. You will collaborate with business partners to align technology solutions with business strategies. This role is responsible for gathering requirements, leading design and providing guidance on recommendations; collaborating with the business on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance them; advising on system options, risk, cost vs.

benefits and impacts; ensuring all systems are aligned with the IT long term strategy; identifying, recommending and implementing complex configuration solutions and implementing full cycle configuration to meet business needs, while creating and updating documentation; setting testing strategy for modules and leading end-to-end integration testing; participating in the delivery of projects and releases; troubleshooting and leading evaluation and design of corrections for complex incidents;

maintaining a high level of functional competency regarding standard configuration of SAP EWM and staying abreast of new trends and best practices.

• Participate in gathering requirements, including leading, designing and providing guidance on recommendations.
• Collaborate with the business on current processes and propose solutions to enhance current processes, advising on system options, risk, cost vs. benefits and impacts.
• Ensure all systems are aligned with the IT long term strategy.
• Identify, recommend and implement complex configuration solutions; implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; create and update associated documentation.
• Set testing strategy for modules and lead end-to-end integration testing.
• Participate in the delivery of project and minor/major releases.
• Troubleshoot and lead evaluation and design of corrections for complex incidents.
• Maintain a high level of functional competency regarding standard configuration of SAP EWM and stay abreast of new trends and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign educational equivalent) or equivalent based on education and/or experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain Management gathering requirements, including configuring and customizing in EWM.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in ECC MM/WM.
• Minimum 1 full lifecycle implementation in SAP EWM.
• Good understanding and working experience in warehouse processes and logistics execution.
• Strong SAP EWM SME with knowledge of Inbound Processing, Outbound Processing, Physical Inventory, RF Transactions, HU Management, Transportation Units, Production Integration.
• Experience communicating technical and business issues/solutions to all levels, including management.
• Experience in integration of EWM with automated warehouse (ASRS) integration preferred.
• Experience in SAP EWM latest versions (9.5 / S/4
  
  HANA) preferred.
• Experience in SAP PP/SD, preferred.
• Experience in Sol Man - ChaRM, preferred.
• Experience in industry solution AFS (Apparel Footwear Solution), preferred.
• SAP certification(s), preferred.
