Overview
Job Summary:
Coordinate with suppliers to monitor performance based on price, quality, delivery, and accuracy. Issue and maintain accurate Purchase Order documents in accordance with Finance guidelines. Report order status, delivery schedules and expediting efforts to related departments of Production, Project Management, and Engineering.
- Maintain and monitor vendor cost, quality, and delivery.
- Issue Purchase Orders as required, document vendor acknowledgements including cost and delivery dates.
- Communicate with Engineering and Project Management to verify specifications to ensure vendor receives accurate information to fill order requests.
- Manage open order reports and other documents to ensure receipt of goods per requirements.
- Assist with Accounts Payables invoice problem resolution.
- Review and process claims with vendors for unsatisfactory goods or services working with Quality Staff to resolve future issues.
- Coordinate and support Request for Quotations based on business needs and evaluate vendors based on changes in demand, market conditions and internal business needs.

- Job duties are performed mainly within an established office environment under normal lighting and climate-controlled tolerances. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
