As an Assembler D you will be responsible for a variety of assembly operations tasks—assembling precision electro‑optical semiconductor components, welding, and soldering under levels of optical magnification. Additionally, you will be responsible for following standard practices and procedures to operate leaded equipment.

• Complete assigned solder processes as required (e.g., soldering components, configuring cabling, and configuring wires).
• Support group objectives for on‑time delivery.
• Assemble mechanical and/or electrical components for customer deliverables.
• Verify use of most updated procedures.
• Follow industry standards or 6S practice.
• Perform torque training, inspection of hardware, and mechanical assembly.
• Crimp cables with a wide range of tools (e.g., hand crimping tools).

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience OR 2 years post‑secondary/Associate’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• 2+ years of experience in proficient computer skills, including ability to navigate email and Microsoft Office.
• 2+ years of experience reading and following drawings and work instructions.
• 2+ years of experience in effective communication.
• 2+ years of experience with basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc.
• 2+ years of experience using a microscope for long periods of time.
• 2+ years of experience in applying coating on PWBs.
• Must be a United States Citizen.

• Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Prolonged standing.
• Must be able to move from lab to lab and within the lab environment.
