Machine Operator 2 (A Shift / Day) – Starting at $23.85/hr
The Machine Operator 2 position is located in Mason, Ohio. This is a day‑shift role (6:45 am–7:00 pm with a paid lunch break) on a rotating 2/2/3 schedule. Pay is $23,00/hr – $23,00/hr, with a starting hourly rate of $23.85.

Responsibilities- Operate a group of plastic blow moulding machines and auxiliary equipment to produce containers safely, efficiently, and with high quality.
- Understand and enforce all safety, health, quality, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities.
- Perform and assist with mold, insert and colour changes on the line.
- Perform basic processing of injection and/or blow moulding machines to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
- Perform tasks of any utility position during slow periods or as needed.
- Monitor resin, dryer, material handling and colour systems for appropriate processing conditions.
- Conduct quality checks on products and document results.
- Assist equipment repairs and perform preventative maintenance.
- Maintain work area to safety and housekeeping standards.
- Complete and file required documentation in an orderly and timely manner.
- Communicate with the Production Shift Supervisor to coordinate line support staff.
- Verify material usage per standards.
- Perform minor troubleshooting and programming on the line; notify leads of major problems.
- Operate equipment to minimize waste and maximize regrind, purge, and scrap within customer specifications.
- Identify regrind and chunk produced.
- Communicate processing information to incoming shift and assist other operators.
- Assist in training new operators.
- Limited travel may be required.
- Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing.
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
- Computer usage and typing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
- Work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and exceptional customer service.
- Work independently and complete assignments within prescribed routines.
- Communicate facts and information clearly both verbally and orally.
- Collaborate well with others, proactively contributing to group objectives and volunteering to help others.
