Mason Family Pet Hospital is currently seeking Veterinary Assistants to support our fast-paced, multi-doctor veterinary practice. We have served the Mason community for over 20 years, providing high-quality care and excellent client experiences. We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates, with a preference for full-time applicants. Experience in a veterinary setting is a plus.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient care and treatment.
  • Monitor hospitalized animals and aid post-surgery care.
  • Maintain inventory and stock supplies.
  • Restrain animals during procedures.
  • Assist with diagnostic tests, sterilize instruments, clean hospital areas.
  • Administer medications under supervision.
  • Feed, bathe animals, and help clients in person and over the phone.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Must be 18 or older.
  • Self-starter, multitasker, team player.
  • Willing to cross-train in reception duties.
  • Enjoy working with animals, capable of handling stressed or ill pets.
  • Prefer 1+ years of experience but not required.
  • Able to lift 40 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in various physical positions.
Compensation
  • Hourly rate: $14.00 - $18.00 DOE.
  • Periodic bonuses where applicable.
