Mason Family Pet Hospital is currently seeking Veterinary Assistants to support our fast-paced, multi-doctor veterinary practice. We have served the Mason community for over 20 years, providing high-quality care and excellent client experiences. We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates, with a preference for full-time applicants. Experience in a veterinary setting is a plus.

- Assist with patient care and treatment.
- Monitor hospitalized animals and aid post-surgery care.
- Maintain inventory and stock supplies.
- Restrain animals during procedures.
- Assist with diagnostic tests, sterilize instruments, clean hospital areas.
- Administer medications under supervision.
- Feed, bathe animals, and help clients in person and over the phone.
- Must be 18 or older.
- Self-starter, multitasker, team player.
- Willing to cross-train in reception duties.
- Enjoy working with animals, capable of handling stressed or ill pets.
- Prefer 1+ years of experience but not required.
- Able to lift 40 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in various physical positions.
- Hourly rate: $14.00 - $18.00 DOE.
- Periodic bonuses where applicable.
