CompensationHourly rate: $18.00 to $18.00.

Job Responsibilities- Essential functions may vary by location based on client requirements.
- Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
- Sets up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
- Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
- Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives.
- Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
- Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods.
- Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to guidelines.
- Stores food properly adhering to safety policies.
- Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests, customers, clients, coworkers.
- Adheres to safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation.
- Ensures security of company assets.
- Experience as a cook or related role required.
- Validated knowledge of basic principles of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
- Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
- Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
- Interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking and standing. It may also require uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE).
