Fine Arts Gallery on Martha’s Vineyard seeks a mature, hardworking Gallery Assistant for a part-time winter position, with the opportunity to transition to full-time employment in the summer.
Responsibilities include general administrative duties, sales, data entry, maintaining artwork inventory, packing and shipping artwork, photographing and installing artwork, and assisting at evening receptions. Candidates must be proficient with computers, and be able to shift easily between a variety of tasks. Previous sales experience is a bonus! We’re looking for a friendly, people-oriented individual with a desire to learn and grow—this is a great resume-building opportunity in a supportive, welcoming environment.
