Under the direct supervision of the Registration Assistant, the student worker supports the mission of the seminary and the Registration Office by performing a variety of office support and clerical duties that include but are not limited to scanning & filing, data entry, processing transcripts, email sorting and correspondence, answering phones, and assisting walk‑ins by answering basic questions or directing them to the appropriate office personnel.
This position is an important member of the Registration team, providing excellent service to students, faculty, staff, and other visitors and efficiently and accurately performing all assigned tasks.

- Possessing basic computer skills and willing to learn new systems and databases
- Demonstrating excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills; able to warmly greet visitors and provide efficient assistance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to collaborate as part of a team
- Ability to bend and lift up to 20 lbs (preferred)
- Willing to learn and perform new tasks as needed
- Familiarity with the relevant Gordon‑Conwell offices, registration procedures, and academic policies is preferred but not necessary; training will be provided
- Greeting students and visitors, answering phones, sorting the Registration inbox and assisting with email correspondence as needed
- Scanning, filing, and basic data entry
- Drafting enrollment verification letters
- Processing transcripts
- Assisting with diploma printing
- Assisting with file audits
- Linking ECDs in the Registration Hub
- Assisting as a proctor Competency Exams
- Assisting with regalia inventory and distribution
- Performing other related duties as assigned by the Registration Assistant and/or the Assistant Registrar
The student worker must be able to work in‑person at the Hamilton Registration Office for a maximum of 10 hours per week throughout the year. They will be expected to be available to assist at the New Student Registration Fair in September and, unless they are graduating, the Baccalaureate and Commencement ceremonies in May.
