• Experience Required
  :
  Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive service technician, preferably in a dealership setting. Brand experience preferred, but not required.
• Technical Skills
  :
  Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
• Detail-Oriented
  :
  Ability to accurately complete service orders and document work performed.
• Team Player
  :
  Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Certifications
  : ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure timely and quality repairs.
• Stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

At Nucar Honda of Norwood, we utilize a flat rate pay system for qualified technicians. This means you are paid a predetermined amount for each specific repair or task you complete, based on the estimated time to complete the job set by manufacturer guidelines.

• If a job is estimated to take 2 hours, you are paid for 2 hours of work, regardless of whether you finish it in 1 hour or it takes you 3 hours.

This system rewards efficiency. The faster and more accurately you complete tasks, the more jobs you can take on and the more you can earn. It creates an opportunity for highly skilled technicians to maximize their income by completing work in a timely and effective manner.
