Client Director

We’re BDO, an accountancy and business advisory firm that partners with entrepreneurial organisations to help them navigate today’s changing world. The Client Director will lead the business development activities within the BDO RS organisation and drive new sales business, playing a key role in BDO RS’s bottom line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a robust Business and Sales Strategy to enhance the growth of the core business and facilitate corporate growth by ensuring further market share and diversification into other business areas.
  • Identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing delivery and providing additional services to organisations you work with.
  • Build and maintain a deep and established database of contacts in targeted industries, understanding compliance, risk, regulatory and governance within the finance industry.
  • Handle complex negotiations, including service agreements, and formulate a robust business development vision and future strategy.
  • Manage competing demands, prioritise tasks, and communicate effectively at all levels with senior managers, directors, and BDO partners.
Key Competencies
  • Proven success in formulating a robust business development vision and future strategy.
  • Strong communication skills – written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation.
  • Excellent influencing, listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to cope with competing demands and prioritise tasks.
  • Deep understanding of compliance, risk, regulatory and governance within the finance industry.
  • Track record of handling complex negotiations and service agreements.
