Overview
Product Manager We are looking for a Product Manager to take ownership of assigned product lines and drive business growth. This role is the focal point for decisions around product promotion, pricing strategy, new product development, competitive positioning, and lifecycle management. The Product Manager will lead global cross-functional teams to grow revenue, market share, brand reputation, and profitability, while being accountable for achieving revenue and margin goals.
This position reports into senior leadership within Product & Marketing.
- Define multi-year product strategies, including lifecycle management and multi-generation planning.
- Develop and manage product pricing strategies based on market value and competitive dynamics.
- Partner with engineering, customer support, sales, and marketing to implement strategy.
- Lead new product development projects from kickoff through launch, ensuring strong cross-functional coordination and successful market release.
- Build product positioning strategies, launch plans, promotional materials, and sales training tools.
- Monitor industry, market, and competitive trends; present insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Identify new business opportunities in both existing and emerging markets.
- Work with sales teams to target and penetrate key accounts.
- Collaborate with marketing to create product support materials and promotional campaigns, including trade shows, content, and digital marketing.
- Support continuous improvement in profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure brand consistency and effective product positioning across global markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of product management experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects and product launches.
- Strong business acumen, analytical ability, and strategic mindset.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and communicate technical information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM/CMS systems experience a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.
Experience with electro-mechanical components, energy storage/battery systems, IT & telecom hardware, backup power solutions, alternative energy, or material handling equipment is highly valued.
