Vision for the Role:
The Photographer plays a vital role in capturing powerful ministry moments, preserving fun and impactful moments of camp. The work the Photographer does allows campers to relive meaningful experiences and provides the Mar Com team with promotional content in future advertising.

• Duties include capturing, editing, and publishing photos of all areas of camp for the daily camp galleries and for promotional purposes.
• Follow all safety procedures and directions provided by supervisors.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude, contributing to a Christ-centered team environment.
• Represent Hume Christian Camps’ values and mission through conduct, attitude, and service.

• Must be able to work with or learn how to use Adobe and shoot on DSLR cameras.
• Must be able to present examples of past work.
• Must be at least 18 years of age at start of employment to live in staff housing; or must be a High School graduate who is a dependent resident of Hume in staff housing.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks and work outdoors or indoors as needed.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work under supervision.
• Must agree with and support Hume Christian Camps’ Statement of Faith.
• Must have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel through word and deed.

• Ability to stand, walk, run, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Live and work in extreme weather conditions, at high altitude, and in small living quarters.

• Be a part of a tight-knit community of believers serving the mission of the camp.
• Incredibly beautiful views and environment, camping, and walking/running trails.
• On-site housing is provided for a minimal rate.
• Dining on-site for minimal cost.
• Short drive from ski resorts, lake activities, and local, small-town restaurants and shopping.
• Easy access to local cafes and farm-to-table restaurants.

Salary: $15.00 Hourly
