We are working with a facility in Massachusetts seeking Emergency Medicine Physician coverage for ongoing 12-hour shift support. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced EM physicians who prefer night coverage in a rural/community emergency department setting.
Assignment Details- Ongoing emergency medicine coverage
- Critical access hospital
- Emergency Department setting
- 12-hour shifts
- Preferred:
Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) - Some days available (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)
- No call
- Nocturnists strongly preferred
- Critical access hospital
- 25-bed facility
- Community / rural environment
- Limited onsite specialty support
- EMR:
Epic
- Emergency Medicine attending coverage
- Patient volume: patients/day
- 2.5 3 patients/hour
- All ages (including 14% pediatrics)
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine ONLY (no IM/FP)
- Active Massachusetts license required
- DEA (Massachusetts) required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year EM experience
