SEN Teaching Assistant

Teach Now are looking for a daily supply Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to work in primary schools based in Islington. We work with over 300 schools in London and are committed to matching the right candidates with the right schools in order to promote success and growth.
We are looking for passionate, proactive and enthusiastic individuals that want to make a difference within the education field, and with a good understanding of the current curriculum. They value behaviour management skills; great attitude towards students, passionate about supporting children, specifically SEN, excellent communication skills and ability to keep students engaged during lessons.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with IEPs and dealing with children’s anxiety and other emotional struggles. Moreover, we are looking for an honest and compassionate individual with completed DBS, or willing to complete one.
