Position OverviewMiscoe Hill Middle School is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Technology Teacher for Grades 7 and 8 from present day through approximately October 31, 2025.
7th Grade Digital Tools- Teach digital literacy skills including research strategies, online safety, and responsible technology use.
- Provide instruction in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Calendar, etc.) for academic and collaborative tasks.
- Introduce students to AI benefits and responsibilities, focusing on ethical use of emerging technologies.
- Guide students in creating projects with Canva and other relevant applications for communication, design, and presentation.
- Integrate real-world applications of digital tools to support cross-curricular learning.
- Encourage students to become critical thinkers and responsible digital citizens.
- Execute lesson plans that focus on the design process, sketching, and hands‑on problem solving.
- Incorporate engineering practices, real‑world challenges, and collaborative teamwork to engage students in STEM learning.
- Assist students in using Tinkercad, CAD software, and other design project tools.
- Facilitate project-based learning and encourage student creativity and innovation.
- Assess student work through rubrics, presentations, and prototypes.
- Guide students through the design process, sketching, and hands‑on problem solving.
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: $110 to $150 Per Day
