4.00 hour per day position ~ Hourly Wage $19.57
Essential Functions- Clean equipment and storage, food preparation and serving areas for the purpose of maintaining required sanitary conditions.
- Evaluate prepared food for temperature, flavor and appearance.
- Inspect food items and/or supplies for the purpose of verifying quantity, quality and specifications of orders and/or complying with mandated health standards.
- Inventory food and supplies for the purpose of ensuring availability of items required for meeting projected menu requirements and report shortages to the Kitchen Manager.
- Maintain records and reports (i.e. counting and recording the amount of leftovers, equipment temp logs and other HACCP logs).
- Help and assist other workers with joint tasks when other assigned tasks are completed.
- Prepare food items according to standardized recipes and established food preparation procedures in order to meet mandated nutritional and projected meal requirements.
- Check in orders and insure all food items are received in good condition and in temperature guidelines.
- Work in a kitchen with a rotating schedule so that all facets of kitchen including dishwashing and register duties are learned.
- Willing to cover shifts, as needed, throughout the District.
