The Ashburnham-Westminster Regional School District is seeking enthusiastic and dependable Substitute Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year. Successful candidates will be flexible, energetic, creative, and comfortable adapting to a variety of classroom settings.

Responsibilities:

• Follow and implement teacher-provided lesson plans and classroom routines.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
• Engage students in meaningful learning activities.
• Communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Adapt to changing needs throughout the school day.

• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different grade levels and classroom settings.
• Positive, professional, and student-focused approach.
• Prior classroom or school experience preferred, but not required.
• CORI, DCF and fingerprinting background checks required.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
