The Halifax Elementary School (HES) is seeking qualified candidates for a Long Term Substitute grade 1 teacher (1.0 FTE) for an assignment expected to begin on or around early November
2026 andthroughthe end of February 2026.
This is a 1th grade teaching positionat HES, a kindergarten - grade 6 school.
Asuccessful candidate should:
- be licensed to teach grade 1.
- collaborate effectively with other staff members.
- be willing to take part in professional development and attend faculty meetings.
- communicate with families.
- seamlessly transition to the role in the absence of the primary educator.
Salary is a daily rate of $324.02 beginning on day 1.
