At WSP, you will join the Roads team based in the London & South East region (Cambridge, London (Westferry Circus), Basingstoke, Guildford or Southampton offices). You’ll work alongside professionals across the Roads business, improving local and strategic networks.

• The delivery of road projects and services for Central Government Authorities, Local Authorities and other public/private sector clients.
• Supporting Senior Engineer/Team Leader with the development of designs using Civil3D and AutoCAD.
• Liaison with stakeholders including landowners and updating consultation management database systems.
• Assisting the Team Leader guiding, supervising and directing junior team members in technical and project management matters to ensure the effective delivery of projects whilst aiding the technical/professional development of the team.

• A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent within a highway design role.
• Working towards Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status. Member of an appropriate Institution.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision, or as part of a larger delivery team, on complex projects in a CAD/BIM environment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and aptitude to further develop in Civil3D/GIS including the use of BIM.
• Experience dealing with stakeholders including landowners and ability to record all consultations.
• Accurate record keeping and excellent attention to detail.
