Electrical Engineering, Process Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Energy Engineer
You’re the engineer who sees the whole system – boilers, turbines, controls, compliance – and knows how to squeeze more performance out of every piece.
In this role, you’ll monitor plant operations in real time, dig into performance data, and turn trends into concrete actions that boost efficiency, reliability, and safety.
You’ll be the go-to problem solver for complex technical issues, from equipment reliability and maintenance strategy to DCS/PLC troubleshooting and capital improvement projects.
Your work directly impacts megawatts, maintenance budgets, and environmental performance.
If you’ve driven reliability and performance in an industrial plant environment, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Work OnYou’ll be embedded in the core of plant performance and reliability, with your hands on the systems that truly matter:
- Boilers and steam systems
- Turbines and power generation systems
- Natural gas usage and ISO-NE power MW bidding
- Beneficial reuse water systems and coordination
- DCS, PLC, and SCADA-controlled plant processes
- Predictive and preventive maintenance programs
- NERC compliance and operational documentation
- Ash testing and environmental compliance (TCLP)
You’ll also work heavily with performance and trend data, with Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and plant control systems as your everyday tools.
This is where deep plant knowledge, data, a nd real-world constraints collide – and you’re the one making the right call.
What We're Looking For- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent such as a higher-level Stationary Engineering license
- Minimum of five years of experience in an industrial plant environment
- Background preferably in power generation or Thermomechanical Treatment operations
- Strong hands-on experience with equipment design, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and field commissioning
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
- Experience with SCADA systems
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic industrial environment
You’ve lived inside industrial plants where downtime is expensive, reliability is king, and every change must be backed by data.
You’re comfortable walking from the control room to the field, talking with operators, reading trends, and then turning that into better performance and fewer failures.
You’re fluent in controls, comfortable with DCS/SCADA/PLC environments, and you naturally think in terms of root cause, NERC compliance, and continuous improvement.
You enjoy mentoring operators and mechanics and setting the standard for technical rigor and safety.
m live operations monitoring and troubleshooting, to engineering analysis, to driving capital projects and reliability programs. You’ll also play a visible role in safety, environmental compliance and continuous improvement, with .
Minimum of five years of experience in an industrial plant environment is required.
