What You'll DoSummary/Objective:
The role is responsible for supporting the mortgage operations team with administrative tasks to assist in moving files through the automated loan process. Additionally, this role is a member of the adverse action team.
Essential Functions:

- Answer all incoming phone calls, directing calls as appropriate to provide prompt and courteous service to our members while achieving department SLA's.
- Assist the mortgage department with support tasks to facilitate an efficient mortgage and home equity application process.
- Add and complete tasks within the Mortgage Loan Origination System (LOS) and other various systems to complete failed process activities and move loans into underwriting statuses or other statuses throughout the initial intake process.
- Make outbound calls to members to review process exception items, explain actions needed to proceed.
- Coordinate with other Mortgage Operations Support team members to ensure all daily work is completed in a timely manner as outlined by the departments SLA's.
- Ensure compliance will all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
- Serve on the adverse action team, ensuring all required documentation is being sent in a timely and correct manner.
- Ensure department HMDA reporting is correct based on the adverse decision type requested by various users throughout the mortgage department.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned by Managers(s).
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years mortgage or related experience

Skills:
Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, etc. - Professional Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Requires compliance with the S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations
