Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant at Hilltown Community Health Centers, Inc.

In this highly visible role, you will report to the dental supervisor and use your detail-oriented, strong time management and organizational skills to ensure that the exam space is clean and ready for patients, equipment is sterilized and organized, supplies are stocked, and water lines are maintained. You will verify patient information, escort them between waiting rooms and the dentist, and prepare everything for the visit while conveying compassion and empathy throughout their experience.

• Verify patient information and escort them to and from the waiting room.

• Prepare exam rooms and ensure sterilization and equipment readiness.

• Stock and maintain supplies and water lines.

• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA and HCHC policy.

• MA Dental Assisting License
• Radiology certification or course that meets MA requirements
• Experience using computer-based systems to input data
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information under HIPAA and HCHC policy

• Commitment to working with all populations and the health of our communities
• Human-centered, strength-based approach to working with colleagues and clients
• Bilingual language skills are a plus but not required
