Job Description

Responsible for the planning, performing, and investigation of variances in cycle counts with stockroom and production personnel
Leads the coordination/logistics, count execution related to annual physical inventory count.
Liaison between Stock Room, Supply Chain Management, and Finance team by being key Point of Contact of inventory audits
Review operational transactions on a daily basis (negative inventory, bin variances, etc.) and brings abnormalities to the attention of appropriate management and finance personnel.
Review inventory and WIP records with Planners/Schedulers to ensure it is connected to the correct contracts, customer orders, and/or projects.
Prepare operational transfer requests and supporting documents; execute warehouse transactions where permitted (no GL posting).
Liaison with Sales, Contracts, Finance, and site Management to have reviewed, and gain approval for, transfers of inventory and WIP.
Manage inventory-related projects with Supply Chain Management team to reduce inventory and maximize safe storage of inventory and WIP.
Maintain operational records (count sheets, bin/location, movement logs) for the Warehouse and Logistics department.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must meet attendance and punctuality requirements for position; this is an on-site role.
$56,744 USD to $70,930 USD
Certificates/Security Clearances/Other
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in related field required, though a candidate may substitute up to 2 years of a degree with relevant experience.
Min 5 years' experience in warehouse and/or inventory management and audits required
Min 5 years' experience in ERP systems required, IFS experience preferred
APICS or PMI certification preferred, but not required

Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain management theories processes and practices, especially those related to inventory management and audits.

Ability to operate computer, fax machine, calculator, copy machine and scanner
