Job Summary: We are seeking a machine operator to join a small team at our Devens facility. The role involves processing a variety of parts in different materials using lapping, polishing, and edge grinding processes. Training will be provided. Laser operator experience is a plus.

• Perform detailed lapping, polishing, and edge grinding operations to meet customer specifications.
• Verify conformance of work in process and finished work against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calibers, drop indicators, and interferometers.
• Read and interpret drawings or work from process/job travelers.
• Verify correct materials, quantities, and production requirements per work order instructions.
• Follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Meet production quality and quantity standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Machine shop experience.
• Time management skills.
• Team player attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Reports to:

Production Supervisor

Hours:

7 am - 3:30 pm with occasional overtime as needed.
