WHAT YOU'LL DOThe Cannabis Technician is a versatile and hands‑on position responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the cannabis production lifecycle, including cultivation, post‑harvest processing, and packaging. This role is designed for candidates who are adaptable, reliable, and thrive in a collaborative environment. The technician will ensure compliance with all regulatory standards while maintaining the highest levels of product quality, cleanliness, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Include Cultivation Operations- Perform tasks such as cloning, transplanting, watering, pruning, trellising, and defoliation.
- Monitor plant health and environmental conditions, making necessary adjustments as directed.
- Maintain accurate cultivation records, labels, and inventory in METRC and internal tracking systems.
- Assist with harvesting, drying, bucking, trimming, curing, and final packaging preparation.
- Ensure accurate strain and batch tracking throughout all stages of post‑harvest.
- Perform visual quality inspections and report deviations immediately.
- Weigh, fill, seal, and label products in compliance with SOPs and state regulations.
- Conduct in‑process quality checks to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Operate and clean packaging equipment as required.
- Follow all company SOPs and maintain compliance with Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) regulations.
- Maintain clean and organized work spaces throughout the facility.
- Document daily tasks, product weights, and activities for quality assurance and regulatory reporting.
- Participate in cross‑training and rotate between departments based on business needs.
- Support a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
- Communicate proactively with supervisors and coworkers to improve processes.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ year of experience in cannabis, agriculture, or manufacturing preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on production environment.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team‑first mentality.
- Willingness to be flexible and take on varying responsibilities as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must pass all background checks required by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC).
- Must obtain and maintain an active Cannabis Agent Registration Card issued by the CCC.

Physical Requirements- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for prolonged periods.
- Repetitive use of hands and arms; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Tolerance for working in environments with high‑intensity lighting, fluctuating temperatures, and background noise from equipment.
- Exposure to cannabis particulates including dust, kief, and strong odors.
- Work conducted in cultivation, processing, and packaging environments with temperature and humidity variation.
- The hours for this role are 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, and employees are either assigned to the A schedule:
Sunday through Thursday, or the B schedule:
Tuesday through Saturday.
Salary: $18 – $19 per hour
