About the RoleDouble E Group designs and manufactures advanced web handling, material handling, and converting solutions used across paper, tissue, film, and foil converting. Join our Machining/Manufacturing/Assembly facility and work alongside specialists in manual machining, saw cutting, assembly, and service to produce high-precision parts that power our customers’ operations.
A Day in the LifeYou begin your shift by reviewing program specs and blueprints, mapping out machine operations and sequencing for a low-volume, high-mix workload. With 5+ changeovers daily, you group jobs to trim setup time and keep throughput high. You perform efficient setups, mount and align tools and fixtures, and transfer commands from servers to CNC modules via network links. After a meticulous first-piece inspection using vernier calipers, micrometers, and drop dial indicators, you run the job—monitoring lubrication and cooling, and stopping the machine as needed to swap tooling or adjust placement according to the machining sequence.
Throughout the day, you collaborate with your Supervisor and Application Engineering/Programming to refine processes and improve outcomes. Other duties arise, and you handle them with the same care and drive.
