You will leverage your expertise in ProtoTRAK systems to transform engineering designs into high-quality parts, ensuring our output meets the rigorous standards required by our diverse client base.
Responsibilities- Configure and manage ProtoTRAK CNC milling equipment to achieve optimal production outcomes.
- Translate complex blueprints and technical specifications into precise machining sequences.
- Execute programming and real-time adjustments on ProtoTRAK controls to maintain dimensional integrity.
- Optimize machining efficiency by selecting the most effective tooling and work holding strategies.
- Validate component quality through rigorous first-piece and final inspections using advanced metrology tools.
- Partner with engineering teams to refine manufacturing workflows and resolve technical production challenges.
- Uphold a high standard of workplace safety and organizational excellence to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with ProtoTRAK CNC milling platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T standards.
- Deep understanding of machining fundamentals, including feed rates, speeds, and material properties.
- Proven ability to hold tight tolerances consistently in a production environment.
- Expertise in utilizing precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges.
- Background in producing components for aerospace or defense sectors.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Demonstrated success in prototype development and short-run manufacturing environments.
