CNC Machine Operator in West Bridgewater

We're looking for a detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to run and monitor CNC machines producing precision metal components. This is a hands-on production role suited to someone who takes pride in consistent, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers according to job specs and blueprints
• Load raw materials and select appropriate tooling
• Monitor machine cycles and make minor adjustments to maintain tolerances
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Follow all safety protocols and keep the work area clean and organized

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience operating CNC machinery (or completion of a relevant vocational/technical program)
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
• Basic understanding of G-code and machine controls
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

Nice to Have

• Experience with multiple machine types (mills, lathes, Swiss-type)
• Familiarity with CAM software
• Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or medical device manufacturing
