Post Harvest Assistant Manager

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21.00–$24.00 per hour, based upon experience
Reports To: Post Harvest Manager

Position Summary

The Post Harvest Assistant Manager assists the Post Harvest Manager with the daily oversight and coordination of the Post Harvest Teams, including Packaging, Trimming, Pre-Roll Production, and Curing. This position helps ensure that all employees follow Green Gold Group's quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety requirements, and production expectations.

The Assistant Manager serves as an additional level of communication between employees and the Post Harvest Manager and provides hands‑on support to the various Post Harvest teams as needed. This position works closely with the Facilities Trainer to ensure employees are properly trained on processes, equipment, and company standards.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail‑oriented, comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment, and able to effectively communicate expectations while maintaining a positive and professional work environment.

Requirements Essential

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist the Post Harvest Manager with overseeing daily operations of the Post Harvest Teams to ensure quality control, productivity, and adherence to Green Gold Group SOPs and standards.
  • Work closely with the Facilities Trainer to ensure employees receive accurate and effective training on all applicable processes, equipment, and procedures.
  • Float between Packaging, Trimming, Pre-Roll Production, and Curing teams to provide additional support and staffing assistance when needed.
  • Serve as the next level of communication between Post Harvest employees and the Post Harvest Manager, communicating employee concerns, questions, operational issues, and other relevant information.
  • Review and approve employee timecards and identify discrepancies, attendance concerns, timekeeping violations, or other payroll‑related issues; report concerns to the Post Harvest Manager.
  • Assist with monitoring employee attendance, punctuality, productivity, and adherence to company policies.
  • Provide backup support for Metrc bagging and sample processes as needed.
  • Maintain the utmost cleanliness, organization, and overall condition of the Packaging, Trimming, and Curing rooms.
  • Ensure employees properly handle Cannabis material and follow all applicable Green Gold Group practices, procedures, and standards.
  • Accurately train and assist team members in the proper operation and handling of equipment used throughout the Packaging, Trimming, and Curing areas.
  • Ensure all employees are aware of and adhere to Green Gold Group's uniform policy.
  • Ensure employees properly wear and use all required PPE while handling Cannabis and performing job duties.
  • Establish and communicate clear daily production goals and expectations to team members.
  • Monitor employee performance and workflow to ensure daily production goals are achieved.
  • Ensure plants are trimmed effectively and consistently in accordance with Green Gold Group practices and quality standards.
  • Maintain an efficient workflow throughout the Pre‑Roll Production, Trimming, and Curing processes.
  • Observe production control points and monitor equipment to ensure processes are being followed correctly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate weights of all Cannabis material throughout the processing and production stages.
  • Maintain accurate counts of all Cannabis products following processing.
