Are you the licensed practical nurse we have been looking for? In this position you will bring an energetic, positive approach while working with a dynamic team of nurses and helping our students.
Berkshire Meadows offers multiple services and programs for individuals with complex and significant medical, intellectual and developmental differences. Programs include a 365‑day a year residential school students ages 6‑21, residential and day habilitation programs for adults, and 24/7 nursing and medical services. Berkshire Meadows operates both in community settings and at a beautiful campus with state‑of‑the‑art equipment and therapy animals, as well as a fully accessible indoor pool.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $30.00 to $37.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
Sign‑on Bonus – We are offering a $3,000 sign‑on bonus ($1,000 paid at time of hire, $1,000 paid after 3 months of employment and another $1,000 paid after 6 months).
Schedule – 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (includes weekends – every other).
Responsibilities
- Follow all procedures related to authorization, monitoring, physician’s orders, observation, and documentation.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to assist students in attaining the goals and objectives on their Individualized Action Plans.
- Develop medical/nursing goals and objectives to meet students’ health needs.
- Implement nursing and medical objectives.
- Arrange for medical consultations, appointments, and labs.

Requirements
- Massachusetts LPN license.
- New graduates welcome to apply.
- Applicants with experience working with special‑needs populations are preferred.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
