The F&B Supervisor supports daily food and beverage operations by assisting with service coordination, guest interaction, and maintaining a warm, welcoming dining environment.
Base pay range$25.00/hr - $30.00/hr
Position DetailsStatus: Full-time, Seasonal, Non-exempt
Reports to: Director of Food & Beverage
Supervises: Servers, Dining Room Attendants, Bartenders, Server Captains, and F&B Assistants
Responsibilities- Supports coordination of daily dining room operations and assists in guiding service staff during shifts.
- Helps ensure dining areas are properly set, stocked, clean, and prepared for service.
- Assists in assigning routine tasks to staff and confirming they are completed according to club standards.
- Provides general direction to team members during service and assists with maintaining smooth service flow.
- Welcomes members and guests, responds to routine questions, and ensures a warm, professional environment.
- Helps monitor table readiness, pacing, and overall dining room appearance throughout the shift.
- Assists with documenting shift information and communicating relevant updates to management.
- Supports member service by assisting with food and beverage service as needed.
- Follows and reinforces club policies, service standards, and safety procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- At least 12 months of experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club.
- Advanced Administrative Skills – use of technology, verbal and written communication, business correspondence, organization, time management.
- Advanced Management Skills – decision making, planning, problem solving, communication, delegation, time management, organization, interpersonal skills.
- Advanced Supervisory Skills – communication, leadership, conflict resolution, motivation, interpersonal skills, understanding of diversity and generational differences.
- Excellent Teamwork and Communication Skills – interact, work, and relate with people, listen, speak, read, write, observe, use English fluently.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills – product knowledge, problem solving, time management, attentiveness, patience, positive attitude, willingness to go the extra mile, responsibility, professionalism.
- Excellent Food Service Skills – food presentation, service etiquette, knowledge of food and beverage service standards, positive attitude, knowledge of menu components, food, beverage and wine.
- Advanced Safety Skills – observe safety rules, safely operate equipment, food safety consciousness, CPR and First Aid.
- Effort:
Medium – walk and stand for extended periods of time, bend, reach, push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Level 3 – half the work performed indoors, half outdoors; air-conditioned environment; variable schedule based on business demands; some duties require working with hazards.
